6-Benzylaminopurine (6-BAP or BA) is a first-generation synthetic cytokinin, a plant growth regulator that promotes cell division, differentiation, and lateral bud growth. It is widely used in plant tissue culture for shoot proliferation, in agriculture to improve fruit quality, and to delay senescence in plants.
Can be stored at room temperature for a 24 month shelf-life.
